Why Oil & Natural Gas?

U.S. consumption of oil and natural gas remains unabated we are importing more oil today than in the 1970's when the Arab producers flexed their muscles and embargoed the United States. Suddenly the American consumers were re-introduced to rationing of gasoline, which had not taken place since World War II. The only answer to the above question is that we are in greater need today of these depleting resources than ever and prices will continue to move higher over long term. $10.00 Oil and $2.00 MCF Gas are history. Allen Greenspan, Federal Reserve Chairman, understands this when he spoke to Congressional Committee in June 2003 on the overall energy needs facing the United States.

HISTORY

Incorporated in 1962, Transco Oil Company, predecessor to Transco Oil & Gas, Inc. drilled and obtained it's first production in 1963. Transco Oil Company drilled several hundred oil and gas wells in the Oil & Gas Prolific Basins of California, eastern and central oklahoma from Tulsa county south to Hughes county, west to Canadian county and in south Texas. The current and future profit potential in oil and gas has prompted the establishment of Transco Oil & Gas, Inc. to bring to bear the experience and the expertise of the previous VP of Operations and associated geologists/geophysicists who helped guide Transco Oil Company's exploration and production efforts.
